Choose a mode to start.

Spelling Bee Vocabulary Practice

Turn strange accepted words into usable vocabulary.

Definition Match is built for the words that are valid, useful, and easy to forget. The game draws from BuzzyWords Daily history and dictionary-backed word pages, so every round connects quick play with deeper vocabulary review.

Learn Meanings

Each card links an accepted Daily-history word with a stored definition, then the results screen collects word-page links for deeper review.

Practice Recall

Alternating word and definition prompts make you recognize vocabulary in both directions instead of memorizing one clue format.

Keep Momentum

Five-card rounds, local streaks, and quick reveals make it easy to study a few unusual Spelling Bee words without breaking flow.

How to play

Choose Daily Set or Practice Set, then answer five cards. After each answer, the card reveals the full definition and keeps you moving to the next prompt. The results screen links to every word page from the round, and your daily streak, best streak, and recent words stay saved locally in this browser.

Match tips

  • Read every option before choosing. Many accepted words have close neighbors with different parts of speech.
  • Use word shape as a hint when the prompt asks for the candidate word, especially suffixes like -AL, -IC, and -ATE.
  • After the round, open missed word pages and connect each definition to Daily appearances so the words are easier to remember.
  • Replay practice sets when your recent words show the same unfamiliar vocabulary returning.

Keep practicing with BuzzyWords

Use Definition Match for vocabulary, Two-Letter Sprint for fast pattern recall, and Daily pages when you want puzzle-specific strategy without revealing every answer at once.
